SUMMARY:UAB St. Vincent’s East Bariatric Surgery Nutrition and Pre Op Prep Class
DESCRIPTION:This class is designed to help you feel confident\, informed\, and fully prepared for bariatric surgery. We’ll walk through essential pre-operative and post-operative nutrition\, lifestyle changes\, goals and practical strategies to support a safe surgery and smoother recovery. You’ll learn what to eat\, how to prepare your body\, what to expect long term after surgery\, and how to set realistic habits that support long-term success. \nThis class is required for all patients undergoing bariatric surgery at UAB St. Vincent’s East\, and should be completed prior to surgery date. \nRefund Policy: refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 1 business days (24 hours) prior to the start of the class. If the patient does not attend class with no prior notice a refund will not be given\, but a coupon code will be given to attend a future class.  A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site. By registering for this class\, you hereby express written agreement to this policy. If you need to reschedule please email arothe@uabmc.edu \n\n\nLate Policy: Please note that late entry into class is not allowed. If you arrive greater than 10 minutes late for class you will be asked to reschedule as to not provide distraction to other patients and instructors.
