The ADA-recognized Outpatient Diabetes Education Center offers expert support, exercise programs, and community outreach across central Alabama, empowering patients to take charge of their health.

UAB Medicine St. Vincent’s One Nineteen offers a complete program to help patients manage their diabetes. The facility includes fitness, weight loss, nutrition counseling, and much more. But the care team also focuses on those with pre-diabetes or are at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes, which often can be prevented.
