Rebekah is not one to stay behind a desk. She is consistently on the front lines, ready to step in wherever needed—whether during a code, assisting with challenging patient situations, or helping families. She doesn’t wait to be asked; she anticipates needs and acts. Her door is always open, her phone is always on, and her leadership is always present.
Beyond her clinical involvement, Rebekah cares deeply for her staff—not just professionally, but personally. She takes the time to check on staff and families, works tirelessly to ensure the units are properly staffed, and goes out of her way to make sure staff have the tools and supplies needed to deliver exceptional care. Her energy and commitment are unmatched.
CVICU is not an easy unit, but Rebekah’s presence reminds the team that they are never alone in the care that is provided. She doesn’t hesitate to come in herself, even for a weekend night shift, if that’s what it takes to support the team.
When challenges arise, Rebekah shines. In downtime, she led with calm, creativity, and determination, implementing new processes to keep things running safely and smoothly. Other units even came by to learn from the systems she put in place. That kind of resourcefulness and leadership is rare and inspiring.
Rebekah is a tireless advocate—not just for her staff, but for her patients, providers, and the hospital. From her creative work with Nurses Week to her energy with the Vibe Tribe, she’s always finding ways to uplift others—not just within her unit, but across the entire organization. She has created a culture that makes nurses want to stay
